Lights, camera, action. On Wednesday, September 13th Londonderry Village premiered their new music video which was a parody of Meghan Trainor’s “Better when I’m Dancing” song.

Over 200 residents and staff members piled into the Di Matteo Worship Center stopping by the concession stand to grab some freshly popped popcorn, assorted Hershey Candies and water before taking their seats.

This music video which was first envisioned by our President, Jeff Shireman, showcases over 70 residents and 20+ staff members. The video was shot in one day and takes place in various locations all over our beautiful campus. The purpose of the video was to show the active, fun lifestyle of residents at Londonderry Village. Meghan Trainor said it best life truly is “better when you’re dancing.”

Our Marketing Director, Jessica Miller was the lead on this project and she did a fantastic job creating the vision for this fun video. With the help of Lisa Thomas, Mary Lee Harpel, Melissa Halvin and Tyler Weaber she was able to bring this vision to life.

Our stars, Bill and Linda Sprandel, were picked up by a limo service and were brought in for the premier. Residents all dressed to the nines in suits, dresses, heels and makeup. The event which lasted about an hour ended with a encore showing of the video and gifts to all those who participated. It was a fun day had by all. Check out the video for yourself, the link is below. The video can also be found on our “Londonderry Village” Facebook page.
